YLD ALBUM COVER

YLD (pronounced wild) needed a different approach for their new album. They knew that they wanted the record to be titled Go YLD and that they wanted to incorporate a stoplight to play off of the “go” aspect. 

Through the use of charcoal and pastel, I created a textured stoplight with a vibrant green and muted red and yellow. I left the charcoal around the edges to create a frame and added the album title with the same charcoal texture to balance out the composition. Overall, it accomplishes a grunge rock look and creatively encompasses their original idea.
