WILL BARK FOR BEADS

Happy Mardi Gras everyone! This year Young-Williams Animal Center was looking for a logo and t-shirt design for their annual Mardi Growl parade and festivities. The contest would be voted down to the top three by the board, and then the final would be chosen by popular vote on Facebook.

The idea behind my design was to create a collection of dogs, each sporting their own individual spirit, and put them in a Mardi Gras parade setting. I knew I wanted it to be fun, energetic and, overall, a piece that would make you smile. The hand-drawn design makes it all the more playful and whimsical. Who wouldn't want to party with their furry best friends?

After the vote, my design was chosen as the winner and has been featured on their social media and website and will be used for any collateral.
